The Department of Commununities and Local Government (DCLG) has published a document that sets out the potential funding available to community and voluntary organisations for community green space initiatives.

The guide is effectively an inventory of grant schemes relevant to community green space initiatives. The aim is to identify the different grant schemes open to local groups, green spaces, allotment organisations or trusts, to pay for ‘outdoor’ activities such as play, active ageing, health promotion, environmental improvement etc.
