All partnership working in Central Bedfordshire comes under the ‘Central Bedfordshire Together’ brand.
Central Bedfordshire Together (CBT) was formed in 2009 as the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for Central Bedfordshire.
The CBT Board met on a quarterly basis to develop and implement the vision for Central Bedfordshire and provide the strategic leadership to improve the quality of life for all people in Central Bedfordshire.
The CBT Board and the five Thematic Partnerships that supported it enabled public, private and voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations to collaborate and work together to deliver the vision and key strategic priorities for Central Bedfordshire.
In 2014, the CBT Board reviewed its meeting structure to develop a future operating model that ensured it made the best use of each member’s time and enabled partners to collaborate to tackle the most important issues facing Central Bedfordshire.
The outcome of this review was to disband the quarterly meetings and replace them with an annual stakeholder event that brings together a wide range of partners, professionals and specialists to determine the key short-medium term priorities for Central Bedfordshire and the actions needed to tackle them.
