Central Bedfordshire Council is currently reviewing the Capital Grant Aid scheme.

Capital grants have historically been used to support:

• Village Halls
• Local Community Groups
• Cemeteries
• Health / Sports projects
• Play and open space projects
• Arts / cultural projects
• Community facilities / general amenities / environment

The review is part of the wider Capital Review programme being carried out by the Council in light of increasing budget pressures. The review should be concluded by the end of June 2010, and we will inform you of the outcome.
